I am looking forward to meeting you! It is my goal to support you in reaching your goals when it comes to guitar playing.
My Responsibilities
I will teach students the language of music in a positive and enthusiastic environment. It is my goal to empower each student to influence their music education with input based on their interest and long-term goals. I will tailor the curriculum to match each student's specific learning needs.
Your responsibilities
Students agree to arrive at each lesson punctually, well-prepared, and with their assignment books, music, and instrument. To make good progress, regular (ideally daily) practice is necessary.
Feel free to ask questions in order to completely understand the assignments and goals.
Lesson Termination
If you wish to terminate your classes, please let me know as soon as possible, ideally at the start of the month. If you have allowed automatic billing for your lessons, please give me 2 business days’ notice so I can terminate the agreement without you being charged.
Payment Policy
Please refer to the payment policy document for details about rates and when the studio is open.
Make-Up Classes
If you must cancel a class during a normally scheduled teaching time, you must give 24 hours notice. Make-up classes can be scheduled when there is a break in the calendar.
Please note that tuition reserves the weekly time slot; I will try to be flexible with make-up classes as much as possible. Make up lessons do not count as credit for the next month’s tuition.
In-person Lessons
This is an online guitar studio. No in-person lesson are available at the moment. I'm confident you will find online teaching both effective and fruitful.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE
From time to time I use photos and short videos of my students around the studio, on the studio website, or in social media posts. These videos and posts are encouraging to other students and helpful to other teachers. If you do not want your image(s) to be used, please let me know.
In general, the students love to see their pictures and videos on my website. They find it motivating and exciting to think that others want to know what they are learning. The students are identified only by first name.
