Four Pieces for Guitar Inspired by Montreal's Old Port

In the winter months when I was studying guitar I would walk down to the Old Port of Montreal and look at the boats waiting in the icy harbour.

In the Winter, The Old Port is almost completely deserted in the winter, even in the middle of the day.

These four easy guitar pieces are inspired by early music. The modal harmonies evoke a sense of estrangement or isolation.

I tried to strike a pleasant balance between melancholy nostalgia and inspiration or encouragement for the future.
